I now have the dates for the show at Ludus Dance.

The exhibition will be held in the Ludus 2D Gallery from the 22nd February to 2nd April.

I will be selling prints, originals and postcards of my shoe illustrations , with an emphasis on ballet shoes, although Ludus specialize in contemporary dance the ballet shoe is an interesting subject and carries a certain charm.

I have completed one commission so far and am looking to do more in the future.

Another one in the offing I think, two actually!

The exhibition at Arteria in Lancaster will be running from 21stMarch until the 5th June...more about that later.

Well the painting of shoes is going quite well. I am now having prints and postcards done, which will be on sale at Arteria in Lancaster in the new year. The exhibition is scheduled from february to april and the exhibition at the Ludus Dance centre is from march to may...I think

First Post!

Hello, this is my first experience at 'blogging'. I am in the process of completing various paintings for three exhibitions which are scheduled for the end of this year and into next spring.
I originally studied graphic design at Norwich School of Art. Illustration was my forte and I worked on a freelance basis for quite a few years and ended up working in textiles.
At the moment I am working on a series of shoe paintings. Dancers from Ludus Dance in Lancaster have been lending me an assortment of ballet shoes and various other dance shoes.
I am also visiting Preston 'Lancaster Museum' and painting their collection of historic footwear.

I look forward to posting examples of my work in the near future and keeping you up to date with my progress. Until next time...
